Our story
Volitio began with one family's experience of disability support, and a simple idea: people should choose their own support.
Volitio was founded by parents of a daughter with a disability. Experiencing the challenges firsthand, they saw how difficult it can be for families and participants to have real choice and control over care.
Alongside that personal journey, our founders bring almost ten years of experience working in the disability sector. In that time they supported participants and families in many different ways, and saw how important choice and flexibility are in getting care right.
That professional knowledge, combined with their lived experience as parents, inspired them to build a service that truly puts people first, not the system.
Today Volitio is a registered NDIS provider in Canberra. We give participants and families the freedom to choose who supports them, when and how, while always having someone to check in, listen and guide the journey.
Volitio is Latin for volition: the power to choose. Your choice is the whole point.
